How it works

Using mechanical filtration, water flows through a porous medium that traps particles by size, known as the micron rating. A 5-micron filter, for example, captures particles 5 microns or larger.

Korvia sediment filters use:

Surface filtration (pleated filters) traps particles on the surface.
Depth filtration (melt-blown or string-wound) captures sediment throughout the filter’s layers.

Korvia filter · Final stage

Korvia Post-Carbon Filter

Taste the difference in every drop. The post-carbon filter is the final polishing stage: after the other stages remove contaminants, activated carbon enhances taste, smell and freshness.

Made from granular activated carbon (GAC), often from coconut shells, it removes trace chemicals and organic compounds by adsorption: impurities stick to the carbon’s surface.
